Why: Come learn about asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials regulations and requirements from NH professionals.

The presenters for this seminar are:
Dennis Francoeur Jr., CIH CSP, RPF Associates Inc.,with offices in NH and MA, will give a 1 hour summary on the EPA-Accredited Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program (RRP) as a national certified speaker. These are the requirements contractors must follow as of April 2010 when performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978.
Tom Livingston, Air Pollution Control Engineer, Asbestos Program, NH Department of Environmental Services, will provide insight into how to identify asbestos and will outline the nature of applicable Federal, State and local laws as related to the potential for the disturbance of asbestos by construction industries.
Geoff Brown, Ph.D., Vice President at ENPRO Services, Inc., with offices in NH, MA, ME and VT, will discuss the identification and proper management of hazardous materials that may be encountered in performing site inspections, redevelopment, and/or new construction. |

• Take Route 93 North to Route 293 South
• Take Exit 6, Amoskeag Bridge
• At the end of the off-ramp, bear right onto the Amoskeag Bridge
• Bear right at the end of the Amoskeag Bridge onto Canal Street
• At the first set of lights, take a left onto West Brook Street
• Elm Street is located at the next set of lights
• The Manchester Health Department is located at the corner of Elm and West Brook Streets
From Points NORTH of Manchester:
• Take Route 93 South to Route 293 South
• Take Exit 6, Amoskeag Bridge
• Bear to the right at the end of the off-ramp onto Eddy Rd
• Proceed over the overpass staying in the right lane
• Bear right as you approach the Amoskeag traffic circle (Ramada Inn on right) and proceed over the Amoskeag Bridge
• Bear right at the end of the Amoskeag Bridge onto Canal Street
• Take a left at the first set of lights onto West Brook Street
• Elm Street is located at the next set of lights
• The Manchester Health Department is located at the corner of Elm and West Brook Streets
From Points WEST of Manchester:
• 101 West to 293 North
• Follow directions above from 293 South
From Points EAST of Manchester:
• 101 East to 93 North
• Take Exit 8 - Wellington Road
• Bear right onto Wellington Rd
• Wellington Road turns into Bridge Street
• Follow Bridge Street to Elm Street.
• Turn right onto Elm Street.
PARKING:
Parking is available behind the building in the MHD Parking Lot and on the sidestreets. Please do not park in the lot adjacent to the MHD Parking Lot. Please enter through the rear of the building. |
